Watch Bernie Sanders' Cameo With Larry David on 'Saturday Night Live'

Saturday Night Live viewers got to feel the Bern this weekend.

Democratic presidential contender Bernie Sanders burst on to the late-night scene at the end of a Titanic-themed bit that opened with a squabble about evacuating women and children first.

"Hold on, hold on! Wait a second!" Sanders said, taking the stage to audience screams.

"I am so sick of the one percent getting this preferential treatment. Enough is enough! We need to unite and work together if we're all going to get through this!"

SNL host Larry David, playing a rich, cranky passenger on the sinking ship after an earlier turn as doppelganger Sanders himself, looked skeptical: "Sounds like socialism to me!"

"Democratic socialism!" Sanders specified.

"Eh... what's the difference?"

Said Sanders: "YUGE difference."

And who might he be, anyway?

"I am Bernie Sanderswitzky — but we're going to change it when we get to America so it doesn't quite sound so Jewish," Sanders said.

"Yeah, that'll trick 'em," David deadpanned.

David and Sanders returned to co-introduce the night's live music act, The 1975s.
