On Monday, Bravo revealed which of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members will be returning for the series' seventh season. On the return list is Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, in addition to longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita. The long-awaited season seven trails a long pause for the series, after the previous season closed in November 2014. And though the network has been cagey about the details made public about the upcoming season, according to an unnamed source NJ Advance Media spoke to, filming has been underway for weeks.

"We're back!" Gorga said in a statement to the Daily Dash, Bravo's publishing arm devoted to the network's news. "This season for me is all about family, fun, friendships and fashion. I can't wait for you to see what we've been up to and how much our kids have grown."

"I'm baaaaack!" added Laurita "I can't get enough of my Bravo family!" Laurita took a full-time hiatus from the show last season. "Sometimes a little break is all I need to jump back in and bring my best! Looking forward to new beginnings. XOXO."

Yet even with a long pause between seasons of RHONJ, there's been no shortage of drama. One reason for the break could be attributed to the legal turmoil surrounding Giudice and her family. After pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and mail and wire fraud, Giudice was released from the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut, in December. The reality television star was released early due to "good behavior," ABC News reported at the time. Husband Joe Giudice is slated to serve a 41-month-long term.

"I am very excited to be back," Giudice said, speaking to the Daily Dish. "For me, this season is all about letting go of the past and embracing the future. People are calling me Teresa 2.0."
