If you separate those cheap wooden chopsticks at Asian restaurants by ripping the wooden block that connects them, you've got it all wrong. Turns out that block is meant to be used as a resting table for the Asian utensils, not a splinter hazard.
A Twitter user posted the game-changing life hack in a viral tweet Feb. 8 that made many question their entire existence thus far. She said she found the tip on Behance.
According to the website, the tab is designed for keeping the end of the chopsticks untouched from the table so they can be reused.
