Chris Brown and Drake Fight Over Rihanna: Chris Brown Says He is Sorry for Brawl

Chris Brown says he is “really sorry” for the New York City night club fight with Drake over singer Rihanna which may cause W.i.P club to lose its liquor license and close its doors.

The incident could also prevent San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker from competing in this year’s Olympic games in London as well as endanger his NBA career due to an eye injury suffered by the French-born basketball star who was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the fight broke. Parker is reportedly suing the club for $20 million as a result.

"Chris is really sorry and feels bad for the people who were injured at the club when all that s**t went down and wishes he could apologize to everyone that was injured there, even homeboy Tony Parker,” said one source close to Brown who added "he [Brown] is upset and feels bad for everyone but at the end of the day people need to remember that he was injured too and beyond that, he didn't even instigate or start any of the bullshit."

The fight broke earlier in the month in Manhattan’s posh SoHo district where the performers – both of who had allegedly dated singer Rihanna – confronted each other with resulting insults and flying bottles that resulted in Parker’s as well as other patron’s injures.

Brown’s apologize is probably a smart move since police is investigating both performers for the incident, and Brown has a 2009 precedent when he attacked then girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards prompting both restraining and probation orders.

Following the same legal advice, Brown should also turn down an offer from celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman who offered both Drake and Brown $1 million for settling their differences over Rihanna in the actual boxing ring during a pay-per-view event next August from Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
