The Tour de France 2012 begins today and, while the exciting action could be overshadowed by seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong’s doping charges, here’s how and where to watch and stream live the developments.

1. Live:

In the United States, coverage begins on Saturday, June 30 from the starting line in Liege, Belgium and concludes on Sunday, July 22 on the Champs Elysees on NBC and the NBC Sports Network.

2. Online:

The Tour de France 2012 will also be available online through NBCSports.com. The users have to open a “MapMyRide” account which will permit them to watch online -- for $29.99 (the whole event) or $4.99 (each stage)  -- with the option of rewinding, forwarding and slowing down. They can also track the tour via GPS, and follow their favorite rider's trajectory live. Steephill.tv also offers live streaming of some of the stages through different European sports networks.

3. Mobile:
