Justin Bieber to Perform at Teen Choice Awards: Full List of 2012 Nominees

If you are wondering where America's teenagers will be tonight, the answer is watching the Teen Choice Awards. Millions of teenagers all over the country are gearing up for the annual award's show just for them. Fans ages 13-19 are eligible to vote for the winners of the Teen Choice Awards, and in doing so they let America know just which stars, songs, TV shows, and movies are important to them. The award's ceremony is perhaps the one awards show that is most in touch with American pop culture, particularly the young female demographic.

The hosts Demi Lovato and Glee's Kevin McHale will lead the teen audience through the evening. Performances by Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, and Carly Rae Jepson are sure to be crowd favorites. The evening's categories include fan favorites like "Choice Movie Lip Lock", and "Choice Movie Hissy Fit."

If this year's award ceremony is anything like last year's, the awards (which come in the form of surfboards) will be given in droves to the cast of Twilight. Last year's other big winner was Taylor Swift who won the evening's highest honor, the "Ultimate Choice Award".

As a non-teen looking in, the teens have acknowledged a list of nominees that includes stars and films otherwise ignored this year: examples include, Miley Cyrus in LOL and Chris Pine in This Means War.

Of course the evening's nominees include some of the year's biggest movies and stars including the aforementioned Twilight, The Hunger Games, and a whole mess of nods for Zac Efron and the film The Lucky One. Selena Gomez, who turns 20 on Sunday, is also up for a whole slew of awards including "Choice Female Hottie".

The ceremony will air Sunday, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. A full list of nominees below:
