British pop star Rita Ora released the video for her new summer jam, "Poison," on Wednesday morning. The song is her first single since 2014's "I Will Never Let You Down," and also the debut single from her June 28 sophomore album, Poison. The video follows Ora as she rises to fame as a supermodel, and in the end comes face to face with the poison she's picked.

Ora's catchy single might finally be what compels American audiences to pay attention to her. Though "I Will Never Let You Down," peaked at No. 1 in the U.K., it only peaked at No. 77 in the U.S. on the Billboard Hot 100. Ora's U.S. audience probably knows the singer best for her collaboration with Iggy Azalea on "Black Widow," or perhaps her acting stint as Christian Grey's adopted sister in 50 Shades of Grey

But Ora has come out with her guns blazing on "Poison." And with the album dropping at the end of the month, this summer could be Ora's time to shine.
