If the 2015 Emmys are nearly as shocking as the nominations announced mid-June, Sunday night's awards show will be packed with celebrities and surprises.

The 67th annual primetime awards show kicks off Sunday night at 8 p.m. on Fox, and will be hosted by comedian Andy Samberg at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Each year, the Television Academy awards the best shows in the television industry with categories for outstanding drama, comedy and animated series, among others.

Some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry including Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling will take the stage Sunday night to present the coveted honors.

Henson, who will also present an award, is up for lead actress in a drama series. And Kaling, whose new season of The Mindy Project is streaming on Hulu as of this week, is currently on a press tour for her new bookWhy Not Me?

The Emmys website will feature a preshow live stream from the red carpet, as well as a backstage behind-the-scenes look as recipients collect their awards.
