Grimm TV Show Season 2 Premiere

Grimm, yet another example of the ongoing American fairy tale fascination, airs its season two premiere Monday night. Season one ended on a mega-cliffhangar and fans are waiting to see Nick (David Giuntoli) come face to face with his mother who he believed dead for the past 18 years. From what we understand, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) will arrive soon into the episode cutting the reunion short. The spring season finale raked in 

NBC has tried a technique of airing season premieres before their regular fall premiere date, seemingly to capitalize on the Olympics momentum. While the tactic is a good one, it has lead to some confusion amongst fans who are not expecting a season premiere in mid-August as opposed to September. 

Fans took to Twitter to express their confusion and excitement.

So to answer the questions of all you confused Grimm fans, yes the season is premiering tonight. You will have to wait once again for the second episode though, that won't air until September 14th on its regular Friday night time slot. 

Grimm Season 2 premieres August 13 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. On September 14 it will moe to its regular timeslot of Fridays at 9 p.m. ET.
