Mic and CBSN Team Up to Expand the Reach of the Second Democratic Debate

Impact

We're excited to let you know that Mic is teaming up with CBSN, CBS News' 24/7 digital streaming news network featuring live, anchored coverage, to bring the second Democratic debate directly to you.

Mic will be featuring CBSN's exclusive live stream of the debate between Hillary Clinton, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I.-Vt.) and Martin O'Malley on Saturday night. Mic correspondents Liz Plank and Zeeshan Aleem will also be on the ground in Iowa, covering all the major storylines and offering insightful analysis on CBSN, Mic.com and Mic's social channels throughout the night.

We're thrilled to join with CBSN's expert team to deliver this enhanced streaming experience for the Democratic debate and introduce CBSN to our young, politically engaged audience. Providing young viewers with coverage on issues that matter is a core pillar of Mic's mission and one of our founding principles.

As the 2016 campaign shifts into high gear, the power that young people have to influence the political process will only become more evident. We're thrilled to work with CBSN to give more young viewers a seat at the table.

The debate kicks off at 9 p.m. Eastern with coverage beginning at 6 p.m. It will take place at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Share this link and visit mic.com/debate for full coverage.
