The anticipation for the upcoming superhero film Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is heightened Monday after Warner Bros. released a sneak peek featuring a face-off between Ben Affleck, who plays Batman, and Henry Cavill, who plays Superman — ahead of a full trailer that will premiere on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live

The 30-second sneak peak, posted to YouTube on Monday, shows Batman tied up in what appears to be a dungeon under Superman's watch. In the last few seconds, Superman rips off Batman's mask, dramatically revealing his identity. The video also advertises that a new official trailer will debut on Wednesday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live at 11:35 p.m. Eastern.

The feature film, directed by Zack Snyder, will hit theaters on March 25. Snyder directed the previous Superman movie, Man of Steel, in 2013 and has directed a number of other films, including 300Legends of the Guardian: The Owls of Ga'Hoole and the 2004 version of Dawn of the Dead.

The film's full-length trailer was released in July and revealed that the Social Network actor Jesse Eisenberg would star in the film as the notorious villain Lex Luther, while Israeli actress Gal Gadot made an appearance as Wonder Woman.
