CMT Artists of the Year Awards 2015: Honorees, Start Time and How to Watch

Several of the biggest names in country music, including Blake Shelton and Sam Hunt, will be among the artists honored Wednesday at the sixth annual CMT Artists of the Year Awards airing live from Nashville, Tennessee. 

The ceremony honors the top country music artists of the year with tributes and "once-in-a-lifetime performances," according to CMT. The 90-minute show will broadcast from Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center at 8 p.m. Eastern on CMT.

Honorees: Country music artists Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town are the honorees, chosen for their chart-topping records and success in 2015.

Performers: Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis will perform a tributary cover of Little Big Town's hit song "Girl Crush." Darius Rucker, Cassadee Pope and RaeLynn will perform Shelton's "Neon Light," and country music newcomer Chris Stapleton will also perform live and receive an award. The awards show has honored legendary country artists in the past including Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum.
