Golden Globe Awards 2016: Full Preview, Presenters and How to Watch

On Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern, NBC will broadcast the 73rd Golden Globe Awards from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, according to NJ.com. NBC's pre-show coverage will start at 7 p.m. on NBC, and is hosted by Matt Lauer, Tamron Hall, Willie Geist and Savannah Guthrie, who will interview stars. E! will be live streaming the famous Golden Globe red carpet fashion on television and online beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern. 

The three-hour ceremony will is the first for this year's awards season, according to NBC

Derek actor Ricky Gervais returns as the host for the fourth time. The comedian is known for his no-mercy jokes onstage. Audiences also shouldn't expect him to perform songs or dances either, he told the Hollywood Reporter on Monday.

He'll be onstage alongside presenters such as Patricia Arquette, Mel Gibson, Eddie Redmayne and Olivia Wilde, CBS reported.

Special award recipients have also been announced. Denzel Washington will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award, which honors someone who has made a significant impact on the entertainment industry. Last year, George Clooney won the award, E! Online reported.

Jamie Foxx's daughter Corinne Foxx will be this year's Miss Golden Globe.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its nominees on Dec. 10. Carol, which stars Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, snagged five nominations. Leonardo DiCaprio was also nominated for his role in The Revenant. Gina Rodriguez, who won a Golden Globe in 2015, was again nominated for her role in Jane the Virgin, according to Variety.
