Kanye West Just Announced the Release Date of His New Album 'Swish'

Culture

After a surprise single release on Friday night, Kanye West finally announced the release date for Swish, his highly anticipated follow up to 2013's "Yeezus."

Swish will be released on Feb. 11. After a quick snafu that required West to take down and then repost his new song, West released "Real Friends" on his website Friday night.

Fans got more than just "Real Friends" on Friday night. West ended "Friends" with a small preview of another song, "No More Parties in L.A."

Though West did not release any new music in 2015, he had quite an epic year. West delivered an 11-minute acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards when he won the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he executive produced Rihanna's very-much-delayed album Anti after appearing on its first single, and he welcomed son Saint with wife Kim Kardashian West.
