Jill Soloway Had the Best Outfit of the Golden Globes That Didn't Get Enough Credit

Impact

Sure, on Sunday night's Golden Globes red carpet, Cate Blanchett looked stunning in white, fringed Givenchy. Zendaya slayed in burgundy. Gina Rodriguez rocked a deep blue gown. But there was one outfit that really stood out.

One outfit to rule them all.

Transparent creator Jill Soloway in a pink suit. In a cool move, Soloway bucked the glamorous gown trend for something far more stylish — a powder pink suit paired with a black-and-white striped button down and silver platform shoes by Stella McCartney.

And people loved it.

Of course, the only thing more badass than Soloway's pink tux was the double-whammy combo of her and her girlfriend, poet Eileen Myles, who also wore a suit to the show.

And her colleague, Transparent actress Judith Light, wore a white satin suit to the awards show, serving us Marlene Dietrich realness.

Doesn't she look comfortable? Doesn't she look effortless? Doesn't she look cool? What more could you want from an outfit? That's what we want to know.

Because really, pants are the way to go. Last year, Soloway also wore a suit to the 67th Emmy Awards, a black-and-white polka dot version. To the Amazon premiere of her show, she wore a velvet blue one. Basically, it's time to consider her a fashion icon on par with Diane Keaton at this point. But, y'know, pinker.

So, thank you, Jill Soloway, for breaking the mold. We can't wait to see what fun you'll have next time you hit the red carpet.
