New York Fashion Week 2016: Full List of Shows and Designers Hitting the Big Apple

New York's biggest fashion event is here — fashion week kicks off Wednesday. The more-than-weeklong showcase of fashion will bring some of the biggest designers, models and industry professionals to NYC for days of shows, parties and events.

Many of the fashion week shows are "industry only (reserved for buyers and the press)," according to FashionWeekOnline.com, but there are some open to the general public, including shows by Mimi Tran, Hallie Sara, Charles and Ron, Catch Michelle and Stello Official. The Carol Galvin Foundation Women's Cancer Fundraising Gala is also open to the public, according to FashionWeekOnline.com.

During fashion week, most days are jam-packed, with shows from around 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Some of the designers who will be showing new fall collections over the course of the week include big names such as Vera Wang, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Alexander Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, Rag and Bone, Tommy Hilfiger and Carolina Herrera.
