Oscars 2016 Winners: Full List of Who Took Home Top Honors at the 88th Academy Awards

On Sunday evening, a plethora of stars and celebrities dressed to the nines for the 88th Academy Awards, which took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. For his second time, comedian Chris Rock took the stage as host.

The Oscars would see awards handed out in 24 categories celebrating some of the best in film. For many nominees, this year was predicted to be their first Oscars score.

This year, The Revenant, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, was up for 12 nominations, including best picture, best directing and best actor for DiCaprio. Trailing that was Mad Max: Fury Road with 10 nominations and The Martian with seven.
