"Super Tuesday 2" 2016 Primaries: List of States Voting This Week

Several eastern states and a United States commonwealth will vote on the Republican and Democratic presidential nominees during another round of voting on Tuesday, unofficially dubbed by some "Super Tuesday 2." Here are the states voting this week in the 2016 primaries.

The states (and one commonwealth) voting this week are: Florida, Illinois, Missouri, Northern Mariana Islands (Republican caucus — Democratic was March 12), North Carolina and Ohio.

Republican race: So far, GOP candidate and business tycoon Donald Trump has won more than double the primary elections his top challenger Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has, earning him 460 delegates to Cruz's 369. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is lagging behind with 163 delegates and Ohio Gov. Kasich is holding on for dear life with 63 delegates and no primary election wins thus far.

Democratic race: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is leading Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders 767 delegates to 553 delegates.
