2016 MTV Movie Awards: What Time Does the Awards Show Start?

Culture

The Oscars are over — and Leonardo DiCaprio finally nabbed that coveted trophy — but that doesn't mean the awards season goes with them. This month, the MTV Movie Awards are set to air their 25th anniversary show Sunday at 8 p.m. eastern, and Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart will be on hand to host.

This year's awards show looks to be one with the Force, as The Force Awakens leads all films with 11 nominations, including Movie of the Year. While fan voting closed March 20, you still don't want to miss the ceremony when it airs on — you guessed it — MTV.
