Bexar County Sheriff's Office confirmed two men are dead in an "apparent murder-suicide," according to the Associated Press, that occurred Friday at the Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.

An airman shot his commander at the base, a senior U.S. official told ABC News. Two handguns were found close to the bodies. Joint Base San Antonio's Brig. Gen. Robert LaBrutta told ABC it was definitely not an act of terrorism and declined to name the two victims until their families are notified.
