Tennessee Teacher Suspended After Showing 'Human Centipede 2' to Students

What has been seen cannot be unseen.

A teacher at Jackson Central-Merry High School in Jackson, Tennessee, was suspended after showing students the horror movie Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) on April 20, the Jackson Sun reported.

Yes, that kind of human centipede. The one where — warning, gnarly — a group of victims are surgically connected to each other to create a "centipede," with each victim's mouth sewn to the anus of the person in front of them (save for the creation's relatively lucky "head").

It was not immediately clear why the teacher chose to show the film — which has been banned in a number of more weak-stomached countries like the U.K. — to students, but district officials said they would find out. In the meantime, the teacher has been suspended.

"The matter has been addressed," Superintendent Verna Ruffin told the Sun. "It's inappropriate and unacceptable."
