Jon Stewart Calls Donald Trump a "Man-Baby" for his "Temperament and Hands"

Is Donald Trump a "man-baby?" The answer was an affirmative "yes" for Jon Stewart, who leveled the charge at the presumptive Republican presidential nominee during a taping of the The Axe Files. The political podcast, hosted by former Obama strategist David Axelrod, is a joint project between the University of Chicago and CNN.

"He is a man-baby," said Stewart matter-of-factly. "He has the physical countenance of a man and a baby's temperament and hands," he added.

The "hands" remark was a sly reference to a campaign jab earlier this year by former rival Florida Sen. Marco Rubio who suggested that Trump's allegedly small hands were indicative of his manhood.

During the lengthy broadcast, Stewart opined at length about the Trump phenomenon which he said reflected an electorate shaped by talk radio.

"He makes sense if you view it through the prism of talk radio," said Stewart. "This is, 'You are run by a tyrant, he is going to take away your rights, we are falling, there are rapists and murderers at the border coming to kill you.'"

Stewart also didn't let the Democrats off the hook either, saying that the party opened itself up to Trump's demagoguery by failing to deliver government services efficiently.

"The door is open to an asshole like Donald Trump because the Democrats haven't done enough to show people that government, that can be effective for people, can be efficient for people," he said. "If you can't do that, then you've lost the right to make that change and someone's going to come in and demagogue you."
