The Justin Bieber-Taylor Swift Feud Seemingly Ended in the Most Millennial Way Possible

Impact

Historically, there's not been a lot of love between Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. But on Monday, that seemingly all changed with one Instagram post

The post, a video of Bieber swaying and singing along to Swift's 2006 hit "Teardrops on My Guitar," garnered 1.1 million likes as of Tuesday afternoon. The black-and-white video shows Bieber in the passenger seat of a car and looking pensively out the front window and at the camera, perhaps bidding farewell to his apparent beef with Swift.

The real kicker came when Swift "liked" Bieber's Instagram post, Us Weekly reported Tuesday. If that doesn't scream "truce," we don't know what does.

Bieber and Swift have apparently had bad blood for a while now. Rumor has it his relationship drama with T-Swift's bud, Selena Gomez, really strained their relationship as far back as 2011.

"Taylor hates him," an anonymous source close to the singer told Us Weekly in 2013. "She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him. Bieber has really come between the girls."

"He complains Taylor's always telling Selena she can do better," another source from the Bieber camp told the magazine.

At least the universe feels right again — for now.
