The World’s First Pizza Highlighter Is Here — and All Because of a Happy Accident

For all the times you've been applying your highlighter and thought, "Goddamn I wish what I was applying to my face looked more like a cheesy pepperoni pie," here's an invention you didn't know you needed, probably don't and should therefore immediately go out and buy: the pizza highlighter. (Note: It's not available for purchase... yet.)

The brainchild of self-taught makeup enthusiast Gina Kay, the product's creation is all thanks to a happy accident.

"My pressed highlighter broke today so I decided to mix it with loose shimmer eyeshadows and rubbing alcohol to create a pepperoni pizza highlighter," makeup artist Kay wrote in an Instagram post.

Though the product is not yet available (we've reached out to Kay for more details), it seems like an easy enough hack to recreate on your own. Might we suggest kosher, vegan or gluten-free options for Kay's next creation.
