If you've ever had a conference call over video chat, you're probably familiar with the top-down mullet — business on top, party on the bottom. 

In other words, you're probably not wearing pants.

In a random sample of 800 Americans, about 10% of respondents said they didn't put on underwear, pants or bras during a video chat, Quartz reported, according to a Zogby Analytics survey.

So next time you're facing a colleague over video chat, remember: There's a one in 10 chance they're sitting bare-ass-to-furniture.

The survey also found that nearly half of the respondents said they were more concerned about their appearance during video chats than about the conversation itself, according to Quartz. Moreover, "about a third" of respondents "spent more time primping than prepping." 

Hair, face, shirt, pants. Check, check, check, lol.
