Chrissy Teigen Just Wrote the World's Nicest Father's Day Message to John Legend

Impact

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend aren't locked in a spousal appreciation competition, but if they were, Teigen would win thanks to a lengthy and effusive caption she left on an Instagram post Sunday, praising Legend's fathering skills. The singer was sweet in his Mother's Day tribute to Teigen, but with her Father's Day message, the model and author was decidedly sweeter.

"Happy Father's Day to the most perfect man Luna and I could ever ask for," she captioned a snap of her newborn daughter wearing a onesie with "Happy Father's Day Daddy" written on it.

"Since the day she was born, you've done every bottle with me, woken up with me to keep me company through every night," Teigen continued.

"You don't mind diapers, you get all the best burps, and read her Goodnight Moon like poetry. It makes me so happy to see so much of you in her smile and eyes that completely glow when looking at you. She will never look at anyone — anyone — the way she looks at you."

But she didn't stop there. Teigen went on to praise Legend's father, for making her husband into the dream dad he reportedly is. "Happy Father's Day to your father, Ron," she wrote. "John is the amazing father he is because of you and Phyllis. You created and raised a man we are all so lucky to love."

Teigen and Legend are the couple whose picture would come up next to "Relationship Goals" in the dictionary if "Relationship Goals" were a term that appeared in dictionaries. They team up to take down trolls and frequently exchange loving messages for all the internet to see. Teigen is open about how large a DILF she considers Legend to be, so Sunday's post is absolutely no surprise. It is heartwarming, though.

"We love you, Johnny, endlessly forever and ever to the Luna and back," she continued, wrapping up her gooey sentiment on a very Chrissy Teigen note. "Happy Father's Day from Luna and I, and thank you to game 7 for providing the real gift here and getting me out of having to plan and overthink the day phew."
