People Were Recently Searching for This Word More Than They Searched for Porn

Sometimes it takes a terrifying political outcome to cool your loins. 

Based on Google Trends, there were three times more search results for "Brexit" than there were for "porn" on the Friday morning following the vote, according to the Independent. This contrast held true both globally and in the U.K.

And maybe their sex drive was down because all the blood was rushing from their groins to their brains — trying to grapple with "what happens if we leave the EU," another popular Google search among Britons in the hours following the announcement. 

Google searches for Brexit also trumped searches for Kim Kardashian, the Independent reported. Now we know what actually breaks the internet.
