7-Eleven is celebrating its 50th birthday on Monday, July 11. To honor the special date, the company is treating its faithful customers to a free Slurpee. 

You can get your icy serving of brain freeze on Monday by walking into any participating store; all patrons are privy to a free small Slurpee between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

You might take this opportunity to taste the convenience store's new Sour Patch Redberry flavor, or stick to one of the classics.

Serious Slurpee fans might take advantage of another Slurpee deal the chain is offering the same week: Customers with a rewards membership who purchase a total of seven Slurpees between July 12 and 18 will be gifted a whopping 11 free Slurpees.
