At Donald Trump Rally in Virginia, Boy Screams "Take the Bitch Down!"

Impact

A "school-age child" at rally for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in Ashburn, Virginia, repeatedly yelled "Take the bitch down!" whenever the candidate mentioned Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, reported the Los Angeles Times.

When reporters questioned the mother of the child, who identified herself as Pam Kohler of Mount Vernon, Virginia, Kohler said that her son must have learned how to speak that way in "Democratic schools," per the Times. She also added "children are children" and "he has a right to speak what he wants to," according to NBC's Katy Tur and the Guardian's Ben Jacobs.

It wasn't the only child-related incident of the day. At the same rally in Virginia, Trump told the mother of a crying baby, "Don't worry about that baby, I love babies," shortly before following up with, "Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here ... I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I'm speaking."

Clinton herself has gone after Trump as a poor role model for the nation's children, running ads that remind viewers, "Our children are watching. What example will we set for them?"
