A New ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ Trailer Just Dropped During the Olympics

Rejoice, young Padawans: Disney unveiled a new trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story during NBC's Olympics coverage Thursday night. 

The first film of three in a planned Star Wars anthology series, Rogue One follows a group of rebels led by Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) as they attempt to steal the plans for the Death Star from the Empire, setting the stage for the events of A New Hope (1977).

The new trailer provided fans their first glimpse at Darth Vader's highly anticipated onscreen return. (And fear not: He's still being voiced by James Earl Jones.)
