Usain Bolt Gold Medal Count: Here's How Many Golds the Famed Olympic Sprinter Has Won

Impact

Usain Bolt is a legend.

He is the fastest man on Earth and has dominated the sprinting events in track and field at every single Olympic Games he has ever competed in.

The Jamaican runner, already one of the most decorated Olympic sprinters of all time, will finally have the chance to add three more gold medals to his current total of six Olympic gold medals.

In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Bolt won three gold medals for the 100-meter, 200-meter, and 4x100-meter relay. He also broke the world record in the 100-meter dash in Beijing. In the 2012 London Olympics, he won three more gold medals in the same events.

Bolt will be participating in what is expected to be his last Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He is expected to win the 100-meter and 200-meter races, and he will also be competing in the 4x100-meter relay.

His first race is the 100-meter dash and the preliminary round begins on Saturday, Aug. 13. You can find his schedule here.
