'Big Brother' 18: Paulie gets a wild welcome to the jury house

Culture

As Julie Chen says, "expect the unexpected." There was a big twist revealed Thursday night — one of the members of the jury is coming back. Paulie, Da'Vonne, Bridgette and Zakiyah and Thursday night's evictee will all compete live to get back into the Big Brother house.

When we last left the houseguests, Corey and Victor were up for eviction, after Paul won the Power of Veto and took himself off the block.

Paul and Victor come up with a plan to save Victor. Victor tries to convince James, Michelle and Natalie that he's not as tight with Paul as he has been previously, making the once-formidable duo seem less threatening.

Before any of the drama really goes down, we get a peek into the jury house. The women are eagerly awaiting Paulie's arrival.

The jury house

Zakiyah, Da'Vonne and Bridgette are all thrilled to see Paulie enter the house.

Paulie says some really horrible things to the women, and they are not having it. The four of them watch the tape of Paulie getting evicted and the women celebrate. Even Zakiyah, with whom Paulie had a showmance, tells Paulie she's angry with him and is glad he was voted out.

Paulie says Bridgette doesn't respect any male opinions. Bridgette responds by saying that being a feminist doesn't mean she hates all men, she just happens to hate Paulie.

After a look into the jury house, we get the live eviction.

Eviction and the Battle Back

Victor and Corey are on the block and Victor is voted out two to one, with Nicole and James both voting to evict him. This is the second time Victor has been evicted from the Big Brother house this season.

Victor takes it all in stride, and says he wants Paul to win the game. "I'm good with everybody," he says.

Chen then reveals to Victor that he will battle Zakiyah, Paulie, Bridgette and Da'Vonne for a place in the house. He's thrilled.

Zakiyah, Paulie, Bridgette and Da'Vonne get a package delivered to the jury house, telling them they have a shot to get back into the competition. They are all brought back to the house to compete with the current houseguests for Head of Household.

Head of Household

The jury members return to the Big Brother house for a big endurance competition. The jury members and current houseguests will all compete for Head of Household — the last juror standing will return to the house, and if a juror wins the whole competition, he or she will also be Head of Household.

The competition is called "Welcome to Loch Mess." The contestants all stand on small platforms against a moving wall. It's guaranteed to last hours.

Tune in to CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern to see who returns to the competition and who wins Head of Household.
