'Stranger Things' leading ladies Winona Ryder and Millie Bobby Brown reunite at NYFW

New York Fashion Week may have seen Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Teyana Taylor and Madonna sitting front row this season, but it was Coach that managed to get the two biggest stars of the summer to sit in its front row on Tuesday afternoon.

Stranger Things' Winona Ryder and the Netflix series' breakout star Millie Bobby Brown reunited at the brand's Spring 2017 runway presentation at a location that easily could double as a set for the Netflix sci-fi series.

The pair were seated in a star-studded front row that included Emma Roberts, Chloë Grace Moretz, Riley Keough and Sasha Lane.

The clothes, on the other hand, which were inspired by "beatniks, rebels, and all-American dreamers," according to Vogue, are likely too modern and colorful for small town Hawkins, Indiana (the fictional city in which the series takes place).

After all, Season 1 of the series saw Ryder's Joyce Byers wearing mostly oversized jackets and flannel. Brown's Eleven didn't fair any better, wearing a light pink pleated dress under a cobalt blue jacket for most of the series' first season.

While Ryder has previously been immersed in the industry, posing for both Marc Jacobs' beauty and fashion campaigns, Coach's runway show was a first for Brown, who's better known as Eleven to Stranger Things fans.

"It's not at all overwhelming," the 12-year old told InStyle about her first-ever fashion show. "It's such an amazing experience. I love it."

While Eleven's fate on Season 2 of the recently-renewed Netflix series remains unknown, we know there will be a place at the front row of NYFW for Brown (and of course Winona — forever, duh) for many seasons to come.
