Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly divorcing, nothing is sacred

Brangelina is over.

Mega-celeb couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly divorcing, according to celeb gossip rag TMZ. The two have been together since 2004 and married in 2014 (in a ceremony at their home in France).

Jolie reportedly filed divorce papers on Monday, and  listed "irreconcilable differences," TMZ wrote, as the reason for the split. On Tuesday, CNN reported that "a source familiar with the [divorce] filing" confirmed the news. According to TMZ, Jolie has asked for "physical custody" of their six kids: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.

While the rules surrounding custody decisions vary state-to-state, legal custody usually refers to the right to make parenting decisions, while physical custody has to do with where the child, or children, will live.
