Who is Laura Wasser? Angelina Jolie's attorney in her divorce from Brad Pitt, of course

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Brad Pitt, and is enlisting someone familiar with bold-faced names to do the dirty work.

According to TMZ — the gossip site that originally broke the news of Brangelina's split on Tuesday — Jolie has employed Laura Wasser, divorce attorney to the stars.

Don't you, though, Mariah?

Wasser, the so-called "disso queen" (think "dissolution of marriage) has a long list of famous clients that includes Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey; Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen; Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey; Britney Spears and K-Fed; Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman; Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johannson; Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries; Heidi Klum and Seal; Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore; Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom; Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck; Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick and many, many others.

Hell, Wasser even handled the dissolution of Jolie's first marriage to Billy Bob Thornton in 2003 because when you find out you have a talent for something, you develop that talent and see it through to the end.

Ironically, divorce is a Wasser family business. The Mirror once called her father, Dennis Wasser, "America's most feared divorce lawyer," according to Jezebel. Wasser the elder represented Tom Cruise in his divorces from Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes; he's also represented Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Jane Fonda, Stevie Wonder, Alec Baldwin and J. Lo, just to name just a few. His daughter belongs to the firm he started in 1976: Wasser, Cooperman & Mandles.

While few details about the Brangelina breakup have surfaced, according to TMZ, court docs cite "irreconcilable differences" when it came to parenting the couple's six kids as the deciding factor. Jolie and Pitt had been together since 2004 and wed in 2014.
