How long will the second presidential debate last? Sunday's schedule for Clinton vs. Trump

Impact

On Sunday night, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will take the stage for the second presidential debate, facing off at Washington University in St. Louis in a town hall-style format.

Read on for everything you need to know ahead of the debate, the second-to-last of the 2016 election.

What time does the debate start, and how long will it last?

The debate will take place from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Eastern at Washington University in St. Louis.

Who's moderating Sunday's debate?

Although NBC News' Lester Holt moderated the first debate solo, this time the responsibility will be shared between CNN's Anderson Cooper and ABC News' Martha Raddatz.

What will the candidates be asked during the debate?

Unlike the first debate, which took place on Sept. 26 and had the candidates situated behind podiums, the second debate will have a more intimate air.

According to the Commission on Presidential Debates, the candidates will field questions from the moderators, civilian participants and social media, and those questions will represent topics that appeal broadly to the public interest.

Though no one can say with certainty which questions will be asked specifically, audio leaked by the Washington Post Friday featuring Donald Trump making disparaging comments about women is likely to play at least some role in the conversation.
