Who won Oregon? Hillary Clinton wins over Trump

Impact

Hillary Clinton easily dispatched Donald Trump in Oregon, a consistently blue state of 4 million people dominated by liberal voters in cities like Portland.

Polls showed Clinton was expected to cruise to victory to take Oregon's seven electoral votes. Oregon has gone blue in each election since 1988, but the state does have some conservative voters, especially in the rural eastern part of the state.

In January, Oregon militia leader Ammon Bundy and his associates seized a federal facility on government-owned land in eastern Oregon. They were recently acquitted of all charges in the case. The standoff demonstrated a rise in anti-government sentiment among conservative Americans over President Barack Obama's presidency.
