Hillary just became the first woman from a major party to vote for herself for president

Impact

At around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, Hillary Clinton cast her ballot in Chappaqua, New York. And, as far as we can tell from photos, she was pretty excited about it.

Clinton, of course, had the distinct honor of being "the first woman from a major party to vote for herself for president," as CNN's Dan Merica pointed out in a tweet. She filled out the ballot alongside husband Bill Clinton.

According to the latest polls, Clinton is well on her way to becoming the United States' first female president, shattering the nation's highest glass ceiling. FiveThirtyEight's election forecast shows the Democratic nominee with a 71.6% chance of victory.
