Who is performing at the 2016 Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony?

Join NBC's Today show hosts Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales for the annual Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 30. 

Performers set to appear at the annual special include Neil Diamond, Sarah McLachlan, Tony Bennett, Josh Groban and, of course, the legendary Radio City Rockettes. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Dolly Parton, Jordan Smith and Tori Kelly will also be on hand to help light the iconic tree this year.

We got our first look at the 94-foot tree being transported to Rockefeller Center earlier this month on Today. This year's tree, a 14-ton Norway spruce, comes from Oneonta, New York. The tree arrived at the Rockefeller Plaza on Nov. 12, continuing the tradition that started in 1933. 

The 2016 Rockefeller Christmas tree lights up for all to see for the first time on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Every single year, thousands gather to watch the annual tradition, which has become a holiday staple. After the ceremony, the tree remains lit and decorated and can be viewed by the public until Jan. 7, 2017.

Those at home can watch the lighting during the Christmas in Rockefeller Center special, which airs on NBC on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern.
