When are the Grammys 2017? Air date and time for 59th annual awards show

The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be held Feb. 12, 2017, beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Awarded by the Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry, the Grammys will be broadcast live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Industry watchers predict a showdown between Adele and Beyoncé

Nominations for the awards will be announced on Dec. 6, and industry experts are already predicting which artists will be recognized, with many pointing towards a competition for album of the year between Adele and Beyoncé, for 25 and Lemonade, respectively.

A possible tribute to Grammy Award winning artist David Bowie, who died in January 2016 just after releasing the album Blackstar, are also being predicted. Bowie was honored at the 2016 Grammys with a performance by Lady Gaga.
