Culture

The 2017 Grammy award nominations were announced Tuesday morning, with Beyoncé and Adele taking key nominations early. Both artists were nominated for record and song for the year — "Formation" for Beyoncé, "Hello" for Adele — and their albums (Lemonade and 25) also got nominations for album of the year. Beyoncé leads the overall field of nominations with nine.

Meghan Trainor, 2016's best new artist, announced the nominations on CBS This Morning. She'll cede the crown to one of five nominees, including The Chainsmokers and Chance the Rapper.

We'll be updating this space as more Grammy nominations are announced.
