What Channel is the Debate On: Vice Presidential Debate Livestream

On Thursday night the vice presidential debate, between Republican Paul Ryan and Democrat Joe Biden, will go down in Danville, Kentucky. Tonight is the only debate opportunity for the vice presidential nominees, so the two contenders will be working over-time to get their points across under the clock.

With America still reeling from the 1-2 punch delivered by Mitt Romney at the debate last week, it's a pretty safe bet that tonight Joe Biden will have his kitten gloves off. Of course, it remains to be seen if the pressure gets to gaffe-prone Joe. Pundits are already wondering if Joe "put y'all back in chains" Biden will be able to mind his words for the 90-minute stretch.

The political event, moderated by ABC News Chief Foreign Correspondant Martha Raddatz, gets going at 9 p.m. and if it's anything like the first debate nearly a quarter of the U.S. population will be tuning in.

The debate will be divided into nine time segments each lasting 10 minutes; the evenings topics will cover both foreign and domestic policy. To tune in from home, the debate can be watched in a few different ways:

TV: The debate will be aired live on C-SPAN, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News and MSNBC, among other cable news channels.

Online: For those confined to the computer, check out the livestream here:

Online pre-shows will be running via the livesteam all day and the debate itself gets going at 9 p.m.  EST.
