'The Flash' Season 3 Spoilers: What will happen in episode 12?

Culture

Tuesday night's episode of The Flash finally revealed how Barry Allen plans to save Iris from the villainous speedster, Savitar. When it becomes clear that Barry will never be fast enough to prevent Iris' murder, he tells Wally that it will have to be Kid Flash that saves the day.

In season three, episode 12 of the CW's hit series, Barry will begin training Wally for the fight of his life. The episode, titled "Untouchable," will also introduce a new meta-human to Central City, one with devastating abilities. And though Iris seems to be feeling quite invincible at the moment (considering she knows the exact date of her death), she may not come out of season three, episode 12 unscathed.

Check out the official synopsis, via ComicBook.com, for the episode below:

The Touch of Death — Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs work together to bring down Clive Yorkin (guest star Matthew Kevin Anderson), a criminal meta-human who is methodically killing people by causing them to decompose at an accelerated rate. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) becomes his next target but it's Iris (Candice Patton) who is caught in the crossfire. The Flash mentors Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and begins to elevate the newer speedster's training to another level.
