Where in the world is Kanye West? It turns out he's on a mountain top in Wyoming working on his new album.

TMZ reported Tuesday that The Life of Pablo rapper is staying at a Wyoming retreat to find inspiration for his next record.

Thanks to a source, TMZ also claims to know the exact location of his whereabouts and the particular retreat, but opted not to disclose that information.

The rapper has been absent from the public eye for some time. He did not attend the Met Gala in early May with Kim Kardashian West, and on Friday it was revealed he has deleted his Instagram and Twitter.

His last album was 2016's The Life of Pablo. Since the release of that album, West has appeared on a few of his fellow rapper's albums — including "Glow" on Drake's More Life and  "Love Yourself" off of Mary J. Blige's new album, Strength of a Woman.

Kanye West was hospitalized in November for "exhaustion" after several problematic appearances at his concerts and stirring up trouble online. According to TMZ's sources, his stay at the retreat has nothing to do with his mental health issues and that it is purely for creative reasons.

Fans will just have to wait and see what Kanye West is possibly cooking up.
