The wait is over. Janet Jackson has announced her State of the World tour, which kicks off in September. "I decided to change the name of the tour: State of the World tour," Jackson revealed in a YouTube video Monday night. The tour was previously called Unbreakable. "It's not about politics. It's about people, the world, relationships and just love." The tour will go to 56 cities.

Jackson also confirmed reports that she and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, separated. "Yes, I separated from my husband. We are in court and the rest is in God's hands," she said in the video. In April 2016, Jackson postponed her Unbreakable world tour, taking time off indefinitely to have a baby. Since then, fans have been anxious for her return, especially after she posted a mysterious countdown on her site Monday. With that said, here is everything you need to know about Janet Jackson's State of the World tour.
