'SNL' Cold Open: Scarlett Johansson joins Alec Baldwin to sing "Hallelujah" in finale

Culture

Back in November, Kate McKinnon kicked off the election week Saturday Night Live episode with a rendition of "Hallelujah." Alec Baldwin did the same — sort of — on May 20 for SNL's season 42 finale.

Impersonating Trump, Baldwin sang a pretty unique version of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." As Baldwin sang the song he was joined by multiple SNL cast members portraying Kelly Anne Conway, Mike Pence, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Steve Bannon and Trump's sons, Eric and Donald Jr. The cold open also received an extra boost of star power in the form of Scarlett Johansson, who returned to portray Ivanka Trump.
