Culture

Dwayne Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live's season 42 finale on May 20, but he wasn't the only big name to appear on the NBC sketch series. Stars like Alec Baldwin, Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson joined him for an episode full of laughs.

Check out five of the top moments from the the SNL finale below:

1. Dwayne Johnson's cold open

Dwayne Johnson announced that he'll be running for president in 2020 with none other than Tom Hanks by his side. What a combo.

2. The return of David S. Pumpkins

Since Tom Hanks was in the building to announce Johnson Hanks 2020, he brought back character David S. Pumpkins for a sketch involving ridiculous rap names. The result? David S. Pimpkins. Enjoy the video below.

3. The Rock back in the ring

You can't have Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson host SNL and not write a WWE sketch. Things got awkward between wrestlers Koko WatchOut and Trashyard Mutt when fertility issues came into play in a mock WWE promo.

4. Farewell, Drunk Uncle

The season 42 SNL finale was also a farewell for a few cast members. Bobby Moynihan joined "Weekend Update" hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che for one last scene as his Drunk Uncle character. Moynihan is leaving the show to star in the new CBS sitcom Me, Myself & I.

5. Dwayne Johnson and male-enhancement drugs

Watch Dwayne Johnson in an ad for Xentrex, quite possibly the most dangerous — but efficient — male-enhancement drug on the fictional market.

"My erections are fantastic. When I wear gray sweatpants, people cross the street, which is fine."
