Who won 'The Voice' 2017? How Team Adam, Blake and Alicia played out in the season 12 finale

Culture

We've come to the end of the road for season 12 of The Voice

The two-night season finale kicked off Monday night for the four finalists — Team Adam's Jesse Larson, Team Alicia's Chris Blue and Team Blake's Lauren Duski and Aliyah Moulson. Each singer debuted an original song, performed a cover song and sang a duet with their coach.

Tuesday night's finale was a star-studded affair with performances from a slew of familiar faces that filled the two hours before host Carson Daly announced the results.

Three former Voice coaches made their return: Miley Cyrus performed her new single "Malibu" and dedicated it to Ariana Grande and the victims of the Manchester, England, bombing. CeeLo Green and Usher also returned to share the stage — CeeLo with Jesse to perform "Shining Star," and Usher to team up with Chris for "Everything Hurts," in a tribute to Manchester. In addition, incoming Voice coach Jennifer Hudson rocked the stage.

The first two singers eliminated on finale night were Aliyah Moulden and Jesse Larson, who only got one chair to turn for him during the blind audition. To say they both came a long way on the show is an understatement.

That leaves us with Chris Blue and Lauren Duski — two very different singers genre-wise, but who raised the bar each week.

And the winner is ... Chris Blue! And that's a win for Alicia Keys as well.
