What time will the 'Love Actually' sequel air? Check out the Red Nose Day lineup

Culture

Thursday is Red Nose Day, an international movement to spread awareness and raise money for children in poverty. Comic Relief, formed by a group of comedians in the U.K., hosted the first Red Nose Day on BBC in 1988 and raised approximately $19.4 million. This year, NBC will contribute to the cause with the return of their Red Nose Day special.

At 8 p.m. Eastern, there will be a special episode of Celebrity Ninja Warrior for Red Nose Day. Some of the celebs competing include Arrow's Stephen Amell, Ten Days in the Valley's Erika Christensen, and MTV comedian and host Jeff Dye.

At 9 p.m. Eastern, NBC will air Running Wild with Bear Grylls for Red Nose Day. During the show, Julia Roberts will join Grylls in a journey to deliver vaccinations to a remote village in Kenya.

The third annual fundraiser, hosted by Chris Hardwick, will officially kick off at 10 p.m. Eastern. The hour-long special will feature a short sequel reuniting the cast of the 2003 film Love Actually.
