Rihanna proves she's the queen with a perfect meme for body-shamers

Rihanna always finds new ways to handle the haters. When her most recent hater, "Spags," a writer from Barstool Sports, penned an article titled "Is Rihanna going to make being fat the hot new trend?" she didn't respond at first. The internet took care of that for her. However, in an apparent response to Spags, who had claimed Rihanna's "high key thickness" made her look "like the Hindenberg," Rihanna shared a perfect meme about body shaming on Instagram Monday:

Although the founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy, eventually took the offending post down, his apology post was severely lacking in apologies. He claimed to remove the article because there were "lots of feminists not happy about it" and because it wasn't "funny as fuck."

Portnoy also issued a lazily sarcastic follow-up post called "Rihanna looked spectacular last night and is a role model for all humans everywhere." In his post, Portnoy claimed that "all women are mothers," suggesting that to be unmotherly is to be unwomanly.

Being the queen she is, Rihanna has a long history of clapping back. In December, she called out an Instagram fan account for comparing her to Beyoncé and suggesting that Beyoncé had taken Rihanna's spot in the list of album of the year Grammy nominations. She commented on the account's post:

I wish y'all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture. We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!

More recently, she shaded Azealia Banks for supporting President Donald Trump's travel ban. After Banks posted on Instagram questioning Rihanna's citizenship and criticizing her opposition of Trump, Rihanna posted a response referencing Banks' rumored practice of sacrificing chickens. The picture said it all:
